Baggage, Check-in and Children
Baggage Allowance:
Coastal Aviation allows a baggage weight of 15 kg per person. To fit into cargo pods, luggage should be soft-shelled and able to pass through a cargo door measuring 36 cm x 68 cm (14.5″ x 27″). It’s recommended to leave larger bags at home. Additional baggage may be accommodated on the aircraft at an extra cost with pre-arrangement, subject to the plane’s load capacity. Some aircraft offer an XL seat as a premium service, allowing guests a 30 kg limit, subject to availability.
Traveling with Children:
Children aged 2 to 12 receive a 20% discount on full-priced adult tickets. Infants under 2 years old fly free, provided they do not occupy a separate seat.
Check-in Procedures:
Ensure you check in at least 30 minutes before departure. If arriving in Tanzania with a tight local connection, it’s advisable to obtain your visa in advance to reduce transit time and avoid visa desk queues.
